We carry sinker cypress in a variety of patterns. These logs have been sunk in the rivers and surrounding areas for years. Normally because they were headed to a sawmill down the river and either got off path or somehow sunk. Being at the bottom of the river or deep in the mud gives them unique characteristics you normally don’t see in wood. Brilliant colors come from years of being preserved by the deprivation of oxygen. Majority of these logs were originally cut in the mid to late 1800s or early 1900s.
